Curriculum & Classes

Education at primary levels plays a pivotal role in the development of child’s personality. The contemporary educational thought lays great stress on child centred methods of education, especially at Primary and Pre-Primary levels. With a view to making education really child centred, the school has an effective ECE ( Early Childhood Education) Program and skill based learning at Pre-Primary and Primary levels.

House System

In order to generate a healthy spirit of competition amongst students, the school follows the House System. There are 4 houses Gandhi, Pratap, Subhash, and Tagore. A number of Inter House competitions are organised in the field of academics, co-curricular activities and sports. The system inculcates amongst students the spirit of participation and healthy competition and also offers opportunity to each student to excel.

Transport Facilities

Arrangement of buses for local students are made by the school on specified route only.

Examination and Testing System

Testing and evaluation from class LKG to III will be carried out on the basis of non-formal assessment system based on the child’s day to day routine progress. The purpose of this process is to keep the child free from the fear of examination at a tender age.

Children Club

The school has started an innovative program for boosting and fostering knowledge-base of the children. The club provides different indoor and outdoor games, an obstacle course designed to build and develop stamina speed and strength, a well stocked children library with electronic section catering to the need of each student. In further expansion plan we intend to build a splash pool for the children. All students of LS Convent Sainik School have automatic membership for the club. The club timing will be notified time to time according to the season.

Special Tuition for the needy students will also be provided on very nominal charges.
